Hi there! My name is Winnie and I’m from Brooklyn, New York. I am a rising junior majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Public Health. I’m interested in working in the pharmaceutical industry where I hope to be creating life-saving medicines at an affordable and sustainable cost as well as increasing access to quality health care for marginalized communities. Outside of class, I work as a laboratory assistant in the Organic Chemistry Laboratory. I am heavily involved in student government from planning student events in the CAS Student Government Student Affairs Committee to raising awareness about mental health in the BU Student Government Mental Health Committee. I am also a part of the Undergraduate Public Health Association and the Triple-Alpha National Honor Society. In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new recipes, going on runs, and visiting cafés.
