Hi everyone! My name is Veer Sawhney, and I’m a junior from Newton Massachusetts majoring in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. I am also minoring in Biology and am on the Pre-Health track. One of the reasons why I love statistics is because of the many different areas of study it can be applied to. On campus I’m a part of Suno, a South Asian fusion acapella group, and am also a part of the BU Debate Society. I’m also a member of the Data Science and Statistics club, a DJ for WTBU, a CAS Dean’s Host, and have served as an FY101 peer mentor.
