Hello everyone! My name is Navya and I’m from Newmarket, NH. I am majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology and pursuing a minor in human physiology on the premed track. I’m interested in cardiology and hoping to become a pediatric cardiovascular surgeon one day! I currently have a research internship position at the BUSM! Outside of academics, my extracurriculars include Student Government, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), Helping Hearts BU, and Hindu Students Council. I also work as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a nursing home in NH! I love spending time outside, traveling, and cooking. I am excited to hear from all of you and will help answer questions about my major or minor, CAS, and life as a BU student!
