Hello! My name is Matthew Yee and I’m majoring in Biology (CMG). I grew up in the Greater Boston area, so BU has never been far. Within the sciences, I’m broadly interested in the “cellular aspects” of Biology. I work in a research lab where we study neural circuits underlying the sense of touch. Outside of academics, I’m a volunteer workshop leader with Peer Health Exchange, where we bring health topics to students in under-resourced schools around Boston. I also work as a Resident Assistant in the Lower Bay State neighborhood. I’m happy to hear from you if you have questions, no matter where you are in your academic journey.
