Hey guys! My name is Hui (like hoy in Chips Ahoy!) and I’m a senior majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB) and minoring in Computer Science. I have always been interested in the intersection of biology, chemistry and tech and hope to be involved in something like this in the future. My hometown is Boston, but I always feel like there are parts of the city I have yet to explore. Some extracurriculars I am involved with are that I am the Vice President of Girls Who Code BU (GWC BU) which is affiliated with the national Girls Who Code organization and focuses on closing the gender gap in STEM. I am also on the BU Triathlon Team. I was the former Vice President of Marketing at the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and was formerly on the BU Women’s Water Polo Team. I have also had the opportunity to do UROP and am currently continuing my research throughout my senior year in the form of an honors thesis. I also enjoy swimming, reading, crocheting and spending time in nature. If you have any questions about BMB, CS, being undeclared, swimming or just life in general, feel free to reach out!
