CAS has eight new National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) fellows. Six are current GRS students, and two are currently undergraduates who’ve accepted places in the Biology PhD program. They are: Tina Barbasch (ecology), Benjamin Cooper (chemistry), Stephen Decina (biogeochemistry), Kathryn Devaney (psychology), Andrea DiGiorgio (biological anthropology), Alistair Hayden (geomorphology), Kimberly Cohen (evolutionary biology), and Kathryn Eccles (geochemistry). The GRFP program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
