On March 16, the University canceled the residential portion of study abroad programs, with students all over the globe rushing to get back home. One student, Nathan Plowman (CAS’21, Pardee’21), was in Ecuador, scrambling to find a flight to the United States. With the help of social media, his host family, and BU Global Programs, he returned home safely (along with a few others from other universities!). You can read about his journey at BU Today.
