On March 27, Michael McCarthy, Associate Professor of Sociology & Director of Community Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz, joins Quinn Slobodian, Professor of International History at the Pardee School of Global Studies, for a Conversation about Finance and Anti-Democratic Politics. McCarthy is author of The Master’s Tools: How Finance Wrecked Democracy (and a Radical Plan to Rebuild It).
