Please join us for a discussion with Dienke Hondius and Jan Erik Dubbelman from the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, experts on national memory in Holland, for a discussion of the history and memory of the Holocaust. Historian Dienke Hondius is Professor of Holocaust Studies at Free University in Amsterdam and the Anne Frank House. She is author of Return: Holocaust Survivors and Dutch Anti-Semitism (2010) and Blackness in Western Europe: Racial Patterns of Paternalism and Exclusion (2014). Jan Erik Dubbelman is head of the Education Projects Department at the Anne Frank House. Moderated by Vivien Schmidt, Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration and Director of the Center for the Study of Europe.
