Please briefly introduce yourself, what’s your background, where are you from, why are you studying at BU GRS?
I’m studying at BU GRS because of the university’s strong reputation in computer science and the vibrant research opportunities available here. BU’s interdisciplinary approach and its connections with Boston’s thriving tech ecosystem make it the perfect place for me to advance my academic and professional goals.
Why did you choose to come to BU for your graduate degree?
The diversity of the student body, the proximity to leading tech companies, and the chance to work with top researchers in the field were major factors in my decision. Additionally, I know about so many outstanding peers who also choose BU.
What are your favorite spots on the BU Campus?
My favorite spots on BU’s campus include the George Sherman Union for studying or grabbing a drink between classes, and the Center for Computing & Data Sciences (CDS) building, where I have an enjoyable study environment and fantastic classroom.
What is your favorite part about attending BU and studying in the US?
My favorite part about attending BU is the diversity of perspectives I encounter, both inside and outside the classroom. The academic environment is stimulating, and the collaborative culture encourages innovative thinking. Beyond BU and campus life, Boston is very rich in its cultural diversity. Therefore, you get the chance to meet people from all around the world and broaden your perspective on life.

Life in Boston can give you a chance to meet with people from all over the world. The Charles Riverside is a good place to meet and talk with people.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
After graduation, I hope to work in the tech industry, possibly focusing on data science, AI, or software engineering. I also want to explore the other parts of this world with the friends I have made in the US.
