Associate Professor of Religion Anthony Petro has been named the next National Endowment for the Humanities Distinguished Teaching Professor, serving a three-year term from 2020 to 2023.
This appointment enables each incumbent to launch a significant new Humanities educational initiative in CAS and the Core Curriculum. Anthony will teach in the Core Curriculum Program and will also launch a series of innovative and ambitious programs focused on the theme of “Health Humanities” with regard to internships, curriculum, research, and events.
