The American Chemical Society (ACS) named Associate Professor of Chemistry Malika Jeffries-EL an ACS Fellow. It’s a lifetime designation only two percent of their membership can claim. The ACS recognized her research into organic semiconductors. Additionally, Jeffries-EL cited her work “diversifying the chemical workforce through mentoring and training students” and her almost two decades of service to the ACS as reasons for the honor.
This isn’t the first time the ACS has recognized her talents, either. In 2012, she received the WCC Rising Star Award. To find out more about Professor Jeffries-EL and her recent honor, read the full story at The Brink.
