Multi-Disciplinary Care of People with Concussions, Ryan Center for Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

This talk highlights multi-disciplinary care of persons with concussion at Boston [...]University’s Ryan Center for Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. The Ryan Center houses physicians specializing in family medicine, sports medicine, and orthopedics, as well as the Boston University Physical Therapy Center, Athletic Training services, and the Sargent Choice Nutrition Center. The panel highlights each discipline’s approach to care of persons with concussion and the full recovery of these patients. Cases studies demonstrate the clinical pathway patients encounter and highlights acute management, chronic presentations, and the intricacies involved.
