Accessibility

BUCLD is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment for all attendees. We believe that a successful conference is one in which everyone, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, can participate fully and comfortably.

We are working to ensure that our conference spaces and materials are accessible to attendees for all. Accessibility measures may include:

• Wheelchair-accessible conference rooms and facilities

• ASL interpreters present for keynote sessions and by request for other sessions

• Printed materials and signage with accessible fonts and contrast

If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to let us know during registration, or contact us directly at langconf@bu.edu as early as possible so we can work to accommodate you.

Childcare

We aim to support attendees with families by providing information about nearby childcare providers and reserving a dedicated lacation room. More information can be found on the Childcare Information page. If you are planning to attend with children or have specific questions, please reach out at langconf@bu.edu.

Supportive Environment

BUCLD strives to create a respectful, harassment-free, and inclusive environment for all participants. We ask that all attendees adhere to our Code of Conduct, which affirms our shared values of mutual respect and integrity.
