Every floor of every campus residence hall has its own personality, its own special rituals and events. Bostonia will periodically showcase different floors or specialty houses from around campus as part of the video series called “On Your Floor.” In our inaugural video, everyone’s favorite BU puppet—Rhett the Terrier—visits Sleeper Hall’s 13th floor, home to 50 women and the RA they affectionately call “Sal-mom.”
Hey Joe-Really enjoyed this article. Having lived in Sleeper back in late 70’s, early 80’s (CGS’81), it’s nice to see students still bonding. However, it’s a lot about the RA. My daughter (SED’17, lives in Warren Towers) hasn’t experience the same level of closeness with her floor. Unfortunately, their RA hasn’t been very active and the students really don’t know one another. Very disappointing. I think that my daughter’s dorm experience might be a lot better with a strong RA.
