BU Bioinformatics Alumnus Farren Isaacs’ Paper Makes National News (in Science, New York Times, More)
Farren Isaacs (PhD, ’04), Assistant Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale, recently wrote a paper entitled “Precise Manipulation of Chromosomes in Vivo Enables Genome-Wide Codon Replacement,” and since its publication in the 15 July, 2011 issue of Science, it has been gaining increasing amounts of attention.
