Photo Essay: A Look Back at Spring on Campus
The season featured Boston Marathon runners, Senior Week, Commencement, and more
With summer officially here, we’re taking a look back at spring 2025 on campus, as captured by BU Today photographers. It was a busy season, marked by the Boston Marathon, the retirement of Robert Pinsky, former US Poet Laureate and a William Fairfield Warren Distinguished Professor, Senior Week, and BU’s 152nd Commencement ceremony. Take a look.

Enrique Gutierrez Wing, a College of Engineering master lecturer in mechanical engineering, was among many BU community members who ran the Boston Marathon to support a local charity. Photographed April 1, Wing ran in support of the Iris Johanna McDaniel Memorial Scholarship, established in honor of a colleague’s daughter.
