BU Today is planning a special photo essay to commemorate Veterans Day
If you’re a Boston University student, faculty or staff member, or alum who is serving or has served in the U.S. Armed Forces and you live in the Boston area, we’d like to hear from you.
On November 11, BU Today will publish a special photo essay to mark this year’s observance of Veterans Day. We’re inviting members of the BU community who are military veterans, and who live locally, to write a short (200-250 word) essay about “What Veterans Day Means to Me.” We’ll then invite them to our studio at 985 Comm Ave to have their photograph taken. We’re asking participants to bring with them a photo of themselves in uniform while they were in active service.
If interested, please fill out the attached form. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, October 15.
