  1. I have had the joy of getting to know Alexa well over the past few years, and while this story is an amazing testament to her brilliance, positivity, and perseverance…what I find most amazing is that this is just one element of who Alexa is. She is such a fully actualized person with lots of interests, capabilities, and accomplishments. The fact that she has achieved so much hand-in-hand with managing this aspect of her life — one that has certainly helped to define who she is and how she faces the world — is just humbling to me. Alexa, you are truly special and such a delight to know. Stay in touch please! Your energy, humor, and intelligent contributions are already missed.
