  1. I love soccer/futbol. It’s the world’s most popular sport without a doubt (sorry NFL/American football fans. Just facts!) and arguably the world’s greatest sport.

    The United States model of play-to-play is ridiculous. Much like the argument in the news about healthcare. Many of the models we have here in the US are absurd and are driven by greed. There are plenty of examples with soccer around the world and with healthcare where the opposite exists and it exists well and thriving. So, with the counter-argument that many give as to why this or why that would not work is just another argument as to why we should accept corruption. There is no argument.

    Soccer is universal. Great article.
