  1. Interesting to see peace protestors willing to fight physically for their cause. What other disruption and violence are they willing to perpetrate for the sake of peace?

    1. civil disobedience
      noun
      Synonyms of civil disobedience
: refusal to obey governmental demands or commands especially as a nonviolent and usually collective means of forcing concessions from the government

  2. The characterization of this as a group fighting physically for their cause is not accurate (and I say this as someone who does not fully agree with the group’s perspective). I was able to cross the BU bridge as a pedestrian, and I stayed to watch for some time. Marshals associated with the demonstration politely alerted me to what was ahead, no-one made any attempt whatsoever to impede my progress, and the demonstrators simply stood and sat on the bridge and chanted slogans. There’s no doubt it was somewhat disruptive, especially for drivers, but nothing more than that.
