Daryl Healea is more than Boston University College of Arts & Sciences assistant dean for curriculum and enrollment services. He has also taught History of Boston University, a CAS four-credit Hub course. With a new president coming on board, we thought it was important for her to know not only some history about BU, but also some of its oddities and quirky facts—like why scarlet and white are the Terrier colors, the story of The Castle, and why a Terrier is the mascot. So, we asked Healea (STH’01, Wheelock’11) to help educate us, and our new president.
