  1. I maybe from an old school point of view (Class of 77).But it is an abomination. Maybe it belongs somewhere along 128 but on Comm Ave among the traditional looking buildings it is an eyesore.

  2. The Boston city hall building has finally been eclipsed by this abomination. It’s ugly, has no flow or movement and appears yearning to fall over at the slightest gust of wind. If constant anxiety was the feeling the designers intended for this building to evoke, they succeeded in spectacular fashion.

  3. People need to get over “ when I was there” or “it doesn’t blend in”.

Who wants the same old thing. Who wants a cheap standard box. I think it’s fabulous and it says “BU is proud of its past, but ALWAYS looking towards to future.”

I think the juxtaposition among the brownstones and gothic buildings is eye-catching and when you see that building in the sky – all you can say is “That’s BU!”

Enjoy it kids! It’s your time.

  4. I look forward to visiting the inside of the building. My BU son said the views are amazing and the inside is spectacular. The engineering, architectural and environmental facts are worth reading about. Modern, forward thinking.
