Eat, shop, go
Heading into April, we’re hopefully done with the frigid temps and now have warmer days and brighter skies ahead. Get outside this weekend and cheer on the BU Terriers from the bleachers or check out a Banksy exhibition. Just don’t forget to keep your wits about you—April Fools’ Day is April 1.
Fiouna’s Restaurant
Fiouna’s offers Persian fusion food in the nearby Fenway neighborhood. Try the classic falafel appetizer or the mast-o-moosir (shallot yogurt dip). For a main course, try the grilled chicken kabab or the fesenjan (pomegranate stew). Fiouna’s also offers well-priced lunch and dinner boxes, such as a falafel box ($10, lunch only) or a grilled salmon shish kebab box ($14 for lunch, $19 for dinner). All boxes come with a side and basmati rice.
Fiouna’s Restaurant, 90 Peterborough St., Boston, is open daily from noon to 8 pm.

Open Mic Night at the Bebop
The Bebop in local Somerville, hosts an open mic night on Thursdays, featuring local musicians, poets, and comedians. For interested performers, the Bebop posts a sign-up sheet every Monday morning. There are 20 15-minute slots, and every performance is considered for future gigs at the restaurant. The list fills up quickly, but the venue takes walk-ins if slots are available. Be advised: the spot is 21-plus after 10 pm, so younger performers need to sign up for the earlier spots.
Open Mic Night at the Bebop, 1116 Boylston St., Somerville, is from 8 to 11:30 pm. Admission is free. Performers can sign up using the Bebop’s sign-up link.
Men’s Lacrosse vs. Navy
With a 7-1 standing, the BU men’s lacrosse team is taking the 2022 season by storm. After their record-setting win against Lafayette on March 26, this team, with 30 upperclassmen on the roster this season, isn’t backing down any time soon. Watch the BU Terriers take on Navy at Nickerson Field on Saturday.
It’s Boston University vs. Navy on Saturday, April 2, at noon on Nickerson Field. Purchase tickets via student Sports Pass or at the Agganis Arena Ticketmaster link. Tickets start at $5.
The Art of Banksy
The Art of Banksy, a traveling exhibition of more than 100 pieces by the elusive, renowned street artist, is making its mark in Harvard Square. The exhibition is the world’s largest collection of Banksy art, worth upwards of $35 million.
