Where?
Modern Party Art, 268 Bowdoin St., Boston. Via public transportation from campus, take an MBTA 47 bus to Nubian Square, transfer to an MBTA 15 bus, and get off at the Quincy St./Bowdoin St. stop. Or take an MBTA Green Line trolley to Park Street, transfer to a Red Line train toward Ashmont, get off at Andrew, and take an MBTA 17 bus to Bowdoin St. opp. Mt Ida. Modern Party Art is a one-minute walk from there.

Performers range from beginners to professionals, and acts range from singing, rapping, and poetry to comedy and storytelling. People who want to get up on stage can get a “performer” ticket for free—you’ll get three minutes to show your stuff and the opportunity to get up there again. So, start practicing now.
Preregistration to sit in the audience is $12 and tickets can also be purchased at the door for $10. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. And those with an artistic bent can also paint during the event. Predrawn canvases are available for guests.
