Cocaptain, women’s rowing team
As a cocaptain of the varsity women’s rowing team, Megan Mastrorilli (CAS’22) is used to a punishing regimen: 6:15 am practices on the Charles River six days a week, rain or shine. As a freshman last year, she was in the sixth seat of the varsity eight boat that advanced to the grand final and won bronze at the Patriot League Championship. She and fellow cocaptains are the main line of communication between the coaching staff and the team’s 42 rowers. In this video, she takes us out on the Charles during an early morning practice and talks about how important it is for rowers to motivate one another.
