  1. What about opening up more opportunities for education at the college level? Understandably, things like the high cost of childcare and education itself keep many from college, but access to higher education opens the door to higher income. Rather than a redistribution of wealth by higher taxes on the wealthiest, shouldn’t we focus on more opportunities to better one’s self through education?

    We have to remember that this is not Europe. We need to aim to free our fellow Americans to have the liberty to pursue “happiness” by helping to remove unjust burdens but it is not our jobs to deliver happiness. Each person must do their own heavy lifting. Generations of hardworking immigrants from all corners of the globe throughout our history have understood this.

    I would be curious to hear some other thoughts on this.
