Advice for the Class of 2018
Class of 2014 shares their wisdom
“Don’t meet just the other students who live on your floor.” “Meet the folks who live above and below you.” “Get off campus and explore Boston.” “Don’t have floor sex—it can make for some really awkward situations later.”
These are among the recommendations that graduates of the Class of 2014 are passing along to the freshman class. Last spring, we asked them, seniors at the time, to share with us some advice that they wished they had had when they first arrived on campus.
So take a minute to listen to the hard-earned wisdom offered by these recent BU grads. And, as one member of the Class of 2014 suggests, “Define the college experience for yourself. Don’t let someone else do it for you.”
Welcome to BU, Class of 2018. The best of luck to all of you as you embark on your college careers.
