Student Activities Expo Welcomes New Members
Student groups to showcase today at Metcalf Ballroom
The Student Activities Expo offers something for everyone. It will present a diverse assortment of student groups today, January 26, at the George Sherman Union Metcalf Ballroom from 3 to 7 p.m. More than 500 student groups can be found on campus, ranging from those unifying specific cultural communities to common-interest groups such as Colleges Against Cancer.
The Student Activities Expo enables registered student organizations to attract new members and show all students what the groups are about. This year’s expo will showcase about 100groups, including performance groups such as the Magicians Club, the DJ Association, and the dance group Fusion. Fraternities and sororities will take part as well, recruiting potential members for spring rush.
