In the video above, students discuss their worst Thanksgiving moments.
It’sthat time of the year — turkeys are flying (not literally) offsupermarket shelves, South Station and Logan Airport are facing the onslaught, and college types citywide have started fasting toconserve belly-space for Thursday’s feast.
Thanksgiving isthe quintessentially American holiday, the one time each year thateveryone makes the pilgrimage home. Which invariably means somethingwill go wrong.
From turkeys catching fire to a travel ordealthat includes hitchhiking in the rain, everyone has a Thanksgivingmoment funny, scary, or embarrassing enough to share. BU Today took to the streets in hopes of capturing some of those memories. We got a lot more than we bargained for.
