Listen above to Jason Lawrence (MET’09) talk about four years at BU, hockey, and a great way to go out.
He wasn’t the most celebrated player on the most celebrated hockey team in recent years, but he was key, a senior who kept it together and led by example — all the way to a national championship.
Jason Lawrence (MET’09) harkens back to the days when Boston University kids were mostly local, and most of them played hockey. From Saugus, his parents took him to BU hockey games and the Beanpot when he was a kid. He’s always cheered for BU, always wanted to go to BU — he even played for the Junior Terriers. And when his senior year came along, he lived that childhood dream.
With Commencement in sight, Lawrence has a chance to reminisce, celebrate, and look ahead. Join him.
