Laugh Out Loud starts the season tonight with comedian Pete Dominick, and Friday's Live Concert Series features rockers Damone

BU Central, the music and performance venue in the basement of the George Sherman Union, opens its doors tonight, Thursday, January 17, with the Laugh Out Loud comedy series featuring Pete Dominick, host of Sirius Satellite Radio’s live daily show Comedy By Request. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show begins at 9:30.
The following night, Friday, January 18, local rockers Damone, with opening guest the Crash Moderns, headline the Live Concert Series. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 9. Then the first Acoustic Café of the semester, which gives student performers a chance to get up on stage and showcase their talents, will be held on Saturday, January 19. Sign-ups start at 8:30 p.m. and the show follows at 9.
