This weekend, BU is calling all its Terriers home for two days of food, drink, and fun. Winterfest begins with registration at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, and the weekend’s activities include an ice-sculpting contest, an indoor tailgate party, a hockey game at Agganis Arena, and lectures on Bob Dylan, Alfred Hitchcock, and Boston’s sports teams.

Saturday morning kicks off with sessions on healthy eating and financial planning and continues with a campus tour led by Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore. In the afternoon, participants can explore Native American writings and poems with Greg Salyer, a Metropolitan College associate professor, or watch Hitchcock’s Rear Window with John Fawell, a College of General Studies professor. Saturday is capped off by a Terrier sports contest, with men’s hockey taking on Merrimack at 7 p.m. at Agganis, and on Sunday men’s basketball meets up with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, at 1 p.m. at The Roof.

For a complete list of Winterfest events or to register, visit the Winterfest Web site.
