Nephrologist Joins MED and BMC
MED recently appointed Joline Chen as an assistant professor of medicine and an attending nephrologist at BMC.

Joline Chen has been appointed an assistant professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and an attending nephrologist in the department of medicine at Boston Medical Center.
Chen, whose clinical interests include the treatment of chronic kidney disease, transplant nephrology, and dialysis care, received her medical degree from the University of Toronto. After completing a nephrology fellowship at Tufts–New England Medical Center in Boston, Chen went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
She has done research on the physical activity status of chronic kidney disease patients and end-of-life care for kidney disease patients.
