Name: Christina Barry
From: West Islip (Long Island), New York
School: College of Arts and Sciences
Major: Chemistry

What convinced you to go to BU?

Once I visited the campus I fell in love with the school’s size and its academic opportunities.

What most excites you about coming to college?

I look forward to starting over in college and meeting a ton of new people from all over the United States and the world.

What courses are you interested in taking?

I am excited to take chemistry courses because I am sure that the labs will be much more exciting than the ones I have done in high school.

What kinds of activities do you want to become involved in?

I am interested in lacrosse, soccer, and working out in general. I go to the gym three to four times a week. I also am considering joining a sorority.

What will you miss most about home?

My family, friends, and Persian cat.

Can you tell us one interesting thing about yourself?

In the fourth grade I earned the record for doing the most sit-ups in one minute — 88 sit-ups. My name is still listed in my elementary school for holding that record.
