BU talks about 9/11
Life halted momentarily at BU on September 11, 2001, as it did around the country, when news of the attack on the World Trade Center filtered through campus. A remembrance service was held on Marsh Plaza the following evening for those killed, among them 29 alumni, and a Memorial Wall was erected to offer students, faculty, and staff a place to express grief, anger, and hopes for peace.
Five years later, as friends continue to post tributes on the University’s memorial Web site, BU Today asked members of the BU community to remember that day and reflect on how their lives have changed in the aftermath. Click on the slide show above to hear the responses.
