Paper accepted for the 2010 Haptics Symposium
A paper by R. Walker and S.B. Andersson, together with Calin Belta and Pierre Dupont has been accepted to the 2010 Haptics Symposium. The paper, titled “In-Haptics: Interactive Navigation using Haptics” describes a scheme for online user-modification of artificial potential fields during mobile robot navigation. Such an approach can help overcome the challenge of local minima in the potential field and provide an intuitive interface for human-robot interaction.
