Background
Daniel is an MD/PhD student who joined the CTE Center in 2019. His research and clinical interests include forensic and neuropathology, neurotrauma, and public health. Daniel’s current research focuses on the roles of microvascular damage and neuroinflammation on the progression of CTE pathology and the development of parkinsonian motor symptoms, as well as the distribution of p-tau throughout motor regions in CTE and other tauopathies, including progressive supranuclear palsy and corticobasal degeneration.
