Captain Melanie Davis is the Recruiting and Education Officer at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 355 at Boston University, Boston, MA. She is directly responsible for recruiting prospective cadets, educating, mentoring, and developing current cadets to become Department of the Air Force officers.
Capt Davis received her commission as a Force Support Officer (38F) in May 2018 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 207 at Saint Louis University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. Since then, she has held numerous Force Support positions, to include Chief of Personnel Programs, Section Commander, and Military Personnel Flight Commander. Prior to her current position, Capt Davis was the Executive Officer to the Director of Force Development, Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel, and Services at Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. In this role she was responsible for the daily management and organization for three divisions: Learning, Force Development Integration and Language, Culture and Regional Expertise across the Department of the Air Force.
