Every year, BostonInno’s 25 Under 25 list recognizes innovative young people.
Recently, two of those 25 were from BU.
Alum Sarah Greisdorf graduated from BU with a degree in computer science.
So naturally, she went straight into…fashion!
Her start-up, Holdette, creates women’s workwear featuring plenty of pockets and sustainably sourced fabrics.
Sarika Ram, a journalism alum, launched Criminalized,
A podcast that discusses the US legal system from the perspective of formerly incarcerated people.
She also runs Surge Employment Solutions, a training and placement service for citizens re-entering society from incarceration.
Both Sarah and Sarika got their projects jump-started through Innovate@BU, a University-wide initiative to enable students to become drivers of innovation.
Innovate@BU isn’t just a name, it’s an opportunity.
