Implant Dentistry for the Dental Specialist
SDM PE 810
The purpose of this course is to provide post-doctoral students with didactic instruction in basic surgical principles and techniques and to prepare them for the surgical placement of implants in selected patients. The need for and use of CBCT scans in implant dentistry will be explained and thoroughly covered. Diagnosis of edentulous spaces and correction of such spaces using dental implants will be discussed, together with extensive multi-disciplinary approaches to treatment planning.
