The "Behavior Guidance for the Dental Pediatric Patient: Non-pharmacologic, Pharmacologic Minimal and Moderate sedation, and Hospital Dentistry" Course is an intensive didactic course given to incoming pediatric dental students during the first 2 semesters of the program. The course is designed to familiarize the new student with concepts they will encounter in the various clinical settings. Provides pediatric dental students, Dentists across BUGSDM and dental trainees with an opportunity to learn how to best utilize advanced behavior guidance techniques. The participants will learn to identify behavior barriers, and provide dental care for children with a variety of medical, physical, developmental, emotional and mental disabilities as well as healthy children and adolescents.
