Undergraduate Prerequisites: (COMFT 250) - The horror film has a long history outside the United States, whether we are talking about British Dracula or Turkish Dracula; Nigerian, Hindi, or South Korean zombies; Spanish and Japanese ghost women; or even Norwegian troll hunters. This course asks students to engage with international horror films through their cultural and cinematic histories, as well as foundational academic theories about horror films.
