This course examines the history, evolution, and current scope of interactive media from the perspective of design, theory, business, technology, and impact. Global trends, patterns, and themes are identified and discussed within the context in which they are created and experienced. Effective Spring 2026, this course fulfills a Research and Information Literacy single requirement in each of the following BU Hub areas: Creativity/Innovation, Digital/Multimedia Expression, Oral and/or Signed Communication.
