Marylee Rambaud

Dr. Rambaud has directed and advised international education and development projects in West Africa, North Africa, the Middle East, and Washington, D.C. She coauthored a book, Through My Own Eyes: Single Mothers and the Cultures of Poverty, several publications on childcare policy and early childhood education and socialization, as well as case studies on projects in Senegal and Morocco. Dr. Rambaud has taught at all levels in diverse settings, from preschool to training for the Ministry of Agriculture’s Institut National de Recherches Agronomiques (INRA) in central France, where she lived for 15 years. Dr. Rambaud coordinates the Community Education Leadership program and the Geneva Leadership in Education For All (EFA) summer program in human rights. She teaches Analysis of Education Policies and Practices for International Development; Citizen Participation and Community Education; Community Analysis in International Settings and The Social and Civic Contexts of Education. Most recently, Dr. Rambaud worked as Senior Associate in Education, Mobilization and Communications for Creative Associates International, Inc., in Washington, D.C.
