Pro Tip: I would definitely say to be prepared for strikes. Classes could be canceled last minute or you will still need to get to class despite public transportation not running so it is important to always be prepared. I would recommend keeping up with when strikes are occurring and whether or not public transportation will be impacted. It’s also important to plan ahead and make sure you have plenty of extra time to change your plans if you end up needing to take an hour long bus ride to get to class as I have had to do many times.
