As Director, Renée Pontbriand oversees all aspects of Boston University’s Paris programs. With more than 30 years of experience with BU Paris, her responsibilities span operations, student services, communication, budgeting, alumni affairs, and more.
Renée completed her Masters in French at Middlebury College in Paris. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French from Boston University and studied abroad for a year at the Université de Grenoble with BU’s abroad program in 1988-89.
She was the founding secretary of the professional organization Association des Programmes Universitaires Américains en France and now serves as their webmaster.
