As Director, Christine Goodfellow oversees all aspects of Boston University’s study abroad programming delivered in London, England. Christine came to BU from Lawrence University, where she served as the Residential Director of the Lawrence University London Centre since 2016. Prior to that, Christine taught at various UK universities and US study abroad programs, including Florida State University, the University of Maryland, and Westminster University.
Born in Germany, she has become a true Londoner after moving to the capital in 2005. She completed her Magister Artium (BA/MA) degree in English and German literature and linguistics at Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf, with a focus on British theatre history. She is also a qualified teacher of German as a foreign language and has taught for the Goethe Institut and King’s College London.
Christine is a keen reader and theatre-goer, long-distance runner, an all-year swimmer at Hampstead Heath’s Ladies Pond.
