There are 3 comments on Greece’s Misery: “A Fraternity in Which Everyone Gets Hazed”

  1. To a great extent, I agree with Prof. Schmidt’s analysis of the Greek financial crisis. I would add that one of the reasons why six years later Greece economy is on life support is the lack of any political stability. Since 2008, we have had five different governments each with marginal parliamentary majorities. In addition, a tax regime that has changed at least 13 times in three years and you have a recipe for disaster. It thus becomes difficult for both domestic and foreign investors to do business in a country when the playing field keeps shifting.

  2. The title of this article is extremely unnecessary. With all the bad PR going around with fraternities recently, we don’t need an article that has absolutely nothing to do with fraternity life comparing Greece’s financial crisis to hazing. People just glancing at this title see the words “Fraternity” and “Haze” and automatically assume it’s about that.
