  1. This information should acknowledge the work of the little-known archaeologist Peter Beaumont, who excavated the cave, formulated a theory of dating now being shown to be correct, and on whose shoulders all these archaeologists are standing.

    1. The first paragraph has a link to the published research, which lists a team:

  2. I am puzzled that the first two comments are critical of this article. This is a nice summary of a fabulous discovery and the Boston University community should be extremely proud of great work being done by excellent scientists.
